Mix in a love for science and it was inevitable imaginative Science Fiction books, some with a splash of Fantasy, would follow. Oh, there has to be plenty of action and some twists and turns. It’s a scary world out there, so a little of that has to bleed through. Yet, hope springs eternal. 

Hammer lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, not far from his children and grandchildren. He was born and raised in the Midwest. But the call of the mountains and the sea captured him. A love of spiritual things and family are Hammer’s prime motivators in life.

When he’s not writing, or even when he is, Hammer enjoys the outdoors.

Often as not, that can happen right here on Earth.
